Abstract

Faced with societal changes, the higher education system is forced to transform itself, pushing institutions to move from a teaching logic to a learning logic. This change calls into question the values as well as the pedagogical practices of teachers, which in itself can be considered a challenge insofar as they have been little or not prepared for this transformation. Even if the teacher has the will to develop his practices, the passage from the desire to change to the real capacity to operate these changes seems difficult to achieve because it requires a break with the usual practices. For these transformations to be embraced, teachers must cultivate a reflective attitude to be open to change and be able to internalize it. Involvement in the shared creation of new practices favored this reflexivity and, in a recursive cycle of the individual and the collective, contributed to the evolution of professional identity, hence the importance that the environment and the parties involved in this transformation of teaching practices. To better understand this co-transformation, we should first begin by presenting the pedagogical innovation that goes hand in hand with a transformation of pedagogical practices, then it is necessary to examine the capacity of the subjects and the way in which they are motivated to adjust their actions, both separately and in groups. It is therefore important to understand this process of transformation by emphasizing the mechanisms mentioned by Dahan which would influence the world of practice within a public professional organization as well as to determine how to carry out a training needs analysis. The literature review on the subject recalls the importance of the professional development of teachers for a transformation of successful practices.
