Essay on the singularity of rural entrepreneurship based on Social Capital perspective
This research scutes rural entrepreneurship in Morocco, its central objective is to characterize this phenomenon through an approach based on social capital, indeed, other disciplines were used, such as economic sociology (Bourdieu, Putnam, Coleman, Granovetter and others). However, developing the living conditions of the vulnerable population is becoming a central objective of populations and public authorities. Rural entrepreneurship is therefore a response to this objective. In our research project, we have tried to demonstrate that mobilizing social capital is a solution to the social and economic problems in rural area. In other words, this article tries to penetrate the existing gaps by modeling the entrepreneurial process in rural areas. From this point of view, the current of the "embedded entrepreneur" facilitate the analysis of entrepreneurial process through the building and mobilizing social capital process. Therefore, to deploy this reflection at the empirical part, we have mobilized studies on sociology of social networks and the social capital design (Bourdieu, 1980), the strength of relations theory and social economic embeddedness (Granovetter, 1973, 1985). This via an abductive logic with a longitudinal qualitative analysis.
