This study examines the complex interconnections between gender, communication, and innovation, with a focus on redefining participation in education and knowledge economies in Morocco. The research aims to investigate the gendered patterns of communication, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing in educational and professional settings, identify the systemic barriers and institutional biases that hinder women's meaningful engagement in innovation and entrepreneurship, and propose interdisciplinary frameworks and evidence-based strategies for fostering gender-inclusive participation and leadership in these domains.
The study employs a qualitative methodology, drawing from feminist theory, social constructivism, and intersectionality to provide a nuanced understanding of the sociocultural and institutional factors shaping gender dynamics. In-depth interviews and focus group discussions with professors from various faculties in Moroccan universities will be conducted to explore the lived experiences and career trajectories of women.
The findings are expected to contribute to the growing body of literature on gender, communication, innovation, education, and knowledge economies. The research will provide empirical evidence and conceptual insights to inform the design and implementation of gender-responsive policies, educational curricula, and support programs that empower women to actively participate in the knowledge economy. Furthermore, the study's interdisciplinary framework can serve as a model for addressing similar challenges in other contexts, contributing to the broader discourse on gender equality and inclusive innovation.
