Abstract

This study analyzes the strategiesMorocco has adopted to enhanceitspresence in the Atlantic and effectively manage the associated challenges. By combininggeopolitical, economic, and security analyses, thismultidisciplinaryresearchaims to provide a nuancedunderstanding of the dynamics at play, shedding light on the Kingdom'sstrategic orientations in this region.Morocco, leveragingits unique geographical position at the intersection of Europe, Africa, and America, has long utilized the Atlantic as a central axis of itsforeignpolicy. Acting as a bridge between continents, Morocco has capitalized on this position to foster commercial, cultural, and diplomatic exchanges. In thiscontext, the Kingdom has developed an ambitious Atlantic strategyaimed at diversifyingits alliances, strengthening national security, and boostingeconomicdevelopment. Currentsecurity challenges, such as piracy, terrorism, and the impacts of climate change, makethis orientation even more important. Morocco stands out for itsability to adapt to the complexgeopoliticaldynamics of the Atlantic while building strategicpartnershipswithvarious international and regionalactors.
