The employee experience in the era of HR digitalization: A literature review

Abstract

In the era of the digital transformation, the employee experience is inseparable from the digital tools that have today become a fundamental part of daily organizational life. In line with this trend, the human resources Managers are also opting for the deployment of innovative solutions in its HR practices, utilizing new digital technologies and the dematerialization of HR processes to meet the evolving aspirations and needs of employees and to understand their perceptions regarding all aspects of their work-related relationships. Indeed, this review of conceptual literature, suggests that the digitization of HR practices can improve the work experience through various cultural, technological and environmental factors within the workplace. This article aims to present a literature review on the aspect of the digital transformation in human resources management, emphasizing its importance and its relationship with improving employee experiences.
