Abstract

Today, the ultimate goal of companies is to increase their competitiveness and efficiency in order to acclimatize to a fluctuating context. To overcome this challenge, organizations need to equip themselves with competent human resources capable of keeping up with the continuous upward pace through the adoption and development of agile behaviors. This implies a need for organizational support and the appropriate deployment of methods and strategies to support and guide employees through this transition phase imposed by the lightning metamorphosis of the business world. An agile company is one that demonstrates an ability to act proactively and effectively in the face of the various contingencies and changes that arise, thanks to well-defined strategic visions and skilled, competent personnel.Based on an extensive narrative literature review, which thoroughly explores the existing literature, this research paper aims to establish an often overlooked direct link between organizational agility and human resource management (HRM) practices. It also seeks to highlight the crucial importance of human capital in strengthening and developing corporate flexibility and agility, while encouraging future research related to this topic.   Keywords: Organizational agility, human resource management, HR practices, agile company, agile HR JEL Classification : F64, J24, M12, O15
