The development of human capital: the impact of social innovation on women's cooperatives in the Fez-Meknes region

Abstract

In recent years, the economic world has experienced remarkable progress in several areas. In this sense, the social economy appears to be fertile ground for exploring the concept of social innovation, including cooperative work and especially Moroccan women have experienced some growth in achieving the objectives of social, economic and environmental development. It is in this sense that our article fits, which focuses on the influence of social innovation in the case of women's cooperatives. Through an empirical study which focuses on the analysis of existing qualitative data and especially on field work with a sample of 6 women's cooperatives in the FES MEKNES region, with the aim of contributing to developing impact indicators of social innovation on the development of human capital within women's cooperatives, the empirical content analysis will be processed using the NVIVO14 software.

This study highlighted significant progress made by these cooperatives: Social integration; fight against poverty, level of financial autonomy of women cooperatives, well-being at work and the level of skills and development within cooperatives, several avenues are improved to encourage the improvement of women's cooperatives and have a group stronger women's cooperatives that aim for survival and value creation.
