Government communication tools and strategies in Benin: current situation and outlook

Abstract

This article analyzes the tools and strategies used by the Beninese state for government communication. Using both qualitative and quantitative methodological approach focused on documentary research and surveys, the results showed that the main government communication tools and strategies in Benin are radios, televisions, telephone SMS and political meetings. The analyzes noted that these government communication tools and strategies need to be improved. Following the analyzes carried out, the study proposed recommendations to contribute to the improvement of political communication for good governance in Benin.
