Abstract

The objective of this article is to thoroughly examine economic growth in Morocco from 1960 to 2016. To do so, we undertook a comprehensive analysis of the concept of economic growth using a theoretical framework as a guide. It is clear that the economic growth of this region has undergone significant changes during this period. This study aims to provide a detailed overview of economic growth in Morocco, highlighting the various factors that have influenced this remarkable development. It thus offers an in-depth understanding of the economic dynamics of Morocco over the decades, allowing for a better grasp of the trends, challenges, and opportunities that have shaped its economic development.

To carry out our study, we began by conducting a literature review, followed by a descriptive analysis of data related to growth in Morocco. This analysis relied on information provided by the World Bank for the period from 1960 to 2016.
